Daredevil

The iconic Daredevil character made his first appearance in Daredevil #1 by Marvel Comics in 1964. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, with input from Jack Kirby, Daredevil—also known as Matt Murdock—was a blind lawyer who fought crime as a masked vigilante in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. The series introduced key characters like the villainous Kingpin and Daredevil’s love interest, Karen Page.

The Daredevil comic quickly became a hit, running for decades and laying the groundwork for the character’s evolution. It inspired a popular Netflix TV series, numerous comic arcs, and films, solidifying Daredevil as a central figure in the Marvel Universe.
