Iron Man #1 comic was one of the best-selling comics in March, attracting those who like to sell comic books with its huge importance as the first issue of Tony Stark’s solo series. This classic helped make Iron Man one of the leading Marvel heroes.

The Iron Man comic series officially launched in 1968 with iron man #1, after Tony Stark’s debut in Tales of Suspense #39 (1963). It was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby. Iron Man’s early stories were about the Cold War era, with Stark shown as a genius billionaire arms dealer who builds his first suit to escape captivity.

The series also introduced some of very well known villains like the Mandarin, Whiplash, and Justin Hammer, and featured important storylines like “Demon in a Bottle” (1979), where Tony battles alcoholism, and “Armor Wars” (1987), which sees him fighting to prevent his stolen tech from falling into the wrong hands.

The Iron man 1 comic was about Iron Man escaping a deathtrap set by the Maggia crime syndicate, only to face a new threat from Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.). Captured and trapped in a submarine by A.I.M., Iron Man confronts their leader, Maxwell Mordius, while S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Jasper Sitwell attempts to rescue passengers from a sinking ship targeted by A.I.M.
