Batman Adventures

The Batman Adventures marked a shift in comic book publishing, as it followed the continuity and style of Batman: The Animated Series, rather than the traditional DC universe.

The first series ran for 36 issues, 2 annuals, and 3 specials. Notably, both Mad Love and the Holiday Special were adapted into episodes for The New Batman Adventures, along with an adaptation of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.

In 1995, the comic was renamed The Batman and Robin Adventures to match the TV series, but it remained a fan favorite. Altogether, there are over 100 issues featuring Batman and Robin’s adventures.
